Angry Monk makes it really easy for food businesses to rescue fresh surplus and imperfect produce from local suppliers, to tackle the farm and supply-stage food waste crisis. This enables businesses to mitigate 1-3 tonnes of CO2e per tonne of fruit and veg rescued, whilst cooking up “deliciously imperfect dishes”.

Angry Monk is currently supporting staff restaurants to take sustainability to the next level by building pilot case studies to showcase the impact that caterers can have with this model (carbon savings staff/student engagement, and cost effectiveness). They are shortly launching in 3 major sites in London including Kings College university.
