GoRolloe is a bicycle wheel that filters outdoor air pollution simply by using the rider’s energy! Air is passed pulled in through a set of filters and expelled cleaner back out into the environment.
It started with the idea of using the energy produced by vehicles to capture pollution on prime roadways. The project started on bicycles as they are quite accessible to engineer and the market is booming. The inventor of GoRolloe came up with the idea of fitting an air filter on a bicycle while cycling through the streets of London and being exposed to gases and particulate matter.
The product is currently in development undergoing engineering and testing – these developments are confidential for the time being. We aim to pilot launch GoRolloe with local authorities by the end of 2021 and be commercial by 2022. Down the line we are looking to expand the technology to other sectors in the end creating a greater impact.
